How AI Powers Our Work at Lini

At Lini, AI helps us work smarter and move faster, but human judgment, clear governance, and ethical decision-making always lead the way.

This year has been a busy one, starting a business and organizing a world tour of seven different wedding parties. Managing travel and event logistics for seven different events, two of which were international, while running a new and growing business, requires serious planning and organization. What helped me, Sylvia, the founder of Lini, get through it all? Using the exact same operational frameworks and tools I use for my clients - and this includes AI.

At Lini, we help clients implement AI-driven product innovation strategies. What you may be wondering is how AI fuels Lini’s operations. I believe AI is a tool, that Lini relies on to run our daily operations, as well as, uses to help our clients implement strategic processes and governance. It is a partner in how we innovate, streamline, and communicate. From evaluation to activation, AI enhances our efficiency and creativity. But because we understand the risks, we also have strict rules about how we use these tools.

How We Use AI for Operational Efficiency

AI is a partner in how we streamline our internal workflows. We leverage it to handle the heavy lifting so our team can dedicate more energy to high-value strategic problem-solving.

  1. Gathering, Brainstorming & Summarizing Ideas

Instead of spending hours manually parsing data, AI helps us quickly synthesize information. Whether it’s to distill lengthy industry reports, generate thought-provoking blog topics and client research, and even refine keynote presentations. Focus shifts to strategic analysis, ensuring whatever actions we are taking are timely and impactful.

  2. Automation & Efficiency

Efficiency is key for any business, especially for us as we are a newly formed organization (not new to business innovation though!), so we automate wherever possible. We streamline workflows using AI-powered tools and dashboards, like Asana to help us handle repetitive task automation, while Miro’s AI for visual and creative brainstorming. By offloading administrative work to AI, our team dedicates more energy to high-value strategic problem-solving—exactly what clients expect from a strategy partner.

  3. Enhanced Communication

Even the best ideas fall flat without clear delivery. AI tools like ChatGPT audit and refine our client emails and blogs for conciseness and to ensure every message resonates. While visual AI’s like Canva suggest marketing visualizations that make our complex concepts instantly understandable. AI helps us craft polished, engaging content effortlessly, giving us additional confidence in our work before we share it with you all.

How We Never Use AI

AI is a powerful tool for efficiency, but unchecked implementations erode the ethics that fuel true innovation. We maintain a strict governance framework for our internal operations. UncheckedI always review AI outputs because AI lacks moral reasoning. True ethical reasoning in ambiguous situations, which are the exact situations many of Lini’s clients are struggling with, still requires human judgment. AI supports our critical decisions; it should never replace them.

  1. Unchecked

I always review AI outputs because AI lacks moral reasoning. True ethical reasoning in ambiguous situations, which are the exact situations many of Lini’s clients are struggling with, still requires human judgment. AI supports our critical decisions; it should never replace them.

  2. Biased

AI learns from historical data, meaning biased inputs lead to biased outputs. “Garbage in, garbage out.” Lini actively audits AI tools used, and developed, to minimize bias and ensure diverse representation.

  3. Without Governance and Accountability

We never treat AI as an all knowing being, and we work to minimize building AI blackboxes. We make sure to have clear process documentation and transparent decision logic so everyone understands how to use and develop transparent AI systems.

Is an AI solution actually going to transform your business strategy?

For all of these activities there are clear goals, challenges and even varying contexts. If you’re missing a clear problem for your AI, you may need to rethink your strategy.

AI is by no means a silver bullet, and has aspects everyone should consider when it comes to an organization, their AI implementations and change management. However, embedding AI into our processes as one of many tools allows us to work smarter and more efficiently as a new business. By continuously changing with the times, we model the same agility and innovation Lini Consulting helps our clients achieve.
